Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 2 1/2 cups maida(all purpose flour)


  • 1/4 tsp baking powder


  • 1/2 tsp yeast


  • 2 tsp sugar


  • 1/4 tsp salt


  • 50 gms butter


  • 1 pinch soda powder


  • 1/4 cups milk


  • 2 tsp hot milk


  • 1 tsp curd

Directions

  • Mix yeast,sugar,hot milk,curd,soda powder and baking powder ,stir them well and keep it aside.
  • Mix butter,salt and egg in maida flour.
  • To this add fermented yeast and some milk , mix gently so as to make it in shape of a ball(dough).
  • Keep this aside for minimum 4 hours.The dough will be doubled in this time.
  • Again make small balls out of this dough and spread butter in it.
  • Flatten this balls like chapathies, These spreads can be cut with knife.
  • Fry both sides of these spreads in an non stick pan
  • Butter nan is ready to served , it goes nice with any type of curries.
